The JIVE follows a concept that will convince you. It?s functionality exceeds all you have ever heard about ESCs.
It's integrated shock-resistant housing, made from a specific polyamide, protects the JIVE ESCs from mechanical damage and makes it waterproof. The plastic material has been developed especially for injection moulding of electronic parts.
# Power by coolness
Noticeable is the huge cooling plate. It is perfectly connected with the power parts, provides good heat transfer and enables additional cooling to be realized. It is possible to raise the performance enormously by installing an additional air or water cooler system. The naming 80+ means: minimum 80 A. With a good extra cooler it is possible to increase to double power.
# BEC records
Further highlights are waiting inside, for example the strong BEC which is adjustable between 5 V and 6 V with PROGCARD II. It offers 5 A continuous BEC current with 15 A in peak. That?s enough for all spectacular flight figures, even in helicopters. To provide this power the JIVE ESCs have got two parallel BEC output jacks.
# High-voltage surprise
Unique too is the BEC of the HV Types, which offers 5 A continuous current with 15 A peak current up to 12 S
(16-50 V)! This allows a secure BEC usage for all applications up to 12 S, of course without any Voltage swing and without interferences - proven by thorough tests on our own EMV test bench.
# This ESC shows initiative
Before and during operation the JIVE controls all nessesary data. During the last year, the software for the start-up sequence has been modified. The parameters are now more compatible with the custom motors. After each operation the JIVE informs the pilot, if there was any overload in order to prevent a potentional malfunction.
# Would you like an F3A brake?
The JIVE is available with an adjustable break, which allows F3A pilots to fly constant downward speed passages during their acrobatic figures.
